Every day in the range, not every month

The draw is over days rather than picking a month and then a day, so February is not as likely as January. Picking the month first makes the short months too common, which is the usual way this is got wrong.

Leap days are included and only exist in the years that have them, which falls out of drawing over days for free.

Made up, and it should stay that way

A date of birth is one of the few things that identifies a person on its own. Use these for test rows and stories, never as a stand-in for somebody real.
