Built from parts, not copied from anybody

A name is a first name drawn from one list and a surname drawn from another, so what comes out is a combination rather than a person. Vietnamese names are built the way they are written — family name first, then the middle name, then the given name.

The invented setting builds names out of syllables instead, for fantasy and science fiction where a real surname would be wrong.

Better than test2

Test data full of realistic names finds bugs that data full of "aaa" never does: long names, short names, names with accents, names that sort strangely.

Nothing is generated on a server and no real person is drawn from any list.
