A want and a flaw, not a costume
Most character generators give you a job and a hair colour, which is a description rather than a person. The two halves that actually make a scene move are what the character is after and what stops them getting it, so both are always drawn.
The four slots are drawn independently, so the combination is often odd. An odd combination is the useful one: a careful smuggler who wants to be forgiven is a story, a careful accountant who wants a promotion is a CV.
