Drawn in three parts
A story needs somebody, somewhere, and something going wrong. The draw takes a character first, then places and things, then an ending — which is why it reads as a sequence rather than as a handful of pictures.
Six is about the limit. Past that the audience stops reconstructing and starts guessing, and the game is the reconstruction.
