Everybody gets one before anybody gets two

Roles are dealt round the shuffled list rather than drawn independently, so with six people and three roles you get three people with a job and three without — not one person holding two.

If there are more roles than people, the extra roles go round again, which is what actually happens in a small team.

Redraw the one nobody wants

A role sheet everybody grumbles at is a role sheet that gets ignored by Wednesday. Draw twice and let the group pick the sheet they will actually follow.
