Every word in the lists is short, common and unambiguous when spoken aloud, because a username gets read down a phone line more often than anybody expects.
The numbered form adds two digits rather than four: a name ending in a birth year tells a stranger your age.
A username is public by design. Do not build one out of anything you would not put on a name badge, and never reuse the same word as your password.
