Why it feels fair

The winner is drawn before the wheel starts moving, and the animation is then aimed at that slice — which is the honest way round. Nothing about the spin, its length or where you release it can change the outcome.

Every slice has exactly the same chance, and the draw comes from your browser's cryptographic random number generator rather than the ordinary one.
